MASTER CLASSES IN IMPLANT THERAPY

Driven by the idea of pursuing new and prospective paths in dental training, we have developed five master classes in dental implantology which offer participants a unique learning experience. We believe this will become a defining moment in your continued professional development, allowing you to elevate your practice to a new level and provide your patients superior and more predictable results. Through this specialized training, we aim to provide you with a new perspective on contemporary implantology, based on the scientific literature and predectible techniques applied clinically in our practice over the last 30 years.

These master classes are suited for novices as well as seasoned professionals and designed as a hierarchical series that, ideally, should be completed in sequence. However, sessions can be booked individually or in series.

The essentials

Few innovations over the past 60 years have changed dentistry as much as the introduction of dental implants to replace lost or missing teeth. Modern dental care concepts without implants are barely conceivable today. Osseointegration between titanium and bone has been very well documented since 1952. However, constant developments in implantology and the high expectations of our patients force us to adapt our practice to obtain the best possible results.

Regardless of the techniques used, the basic principles are essential to mastering our implantology treatments. Digital planning and guided surgery are essential and must be considered the “Standard of care” today. The extraction and preservation of the ridge are essential steps in the treatment and must be an integral part of our implant treatment since they determine the rest of the surgical steps

The use of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) with all its advantages significantly increases the success of our procedures. All of these elements are essential to master the contemporary implantology and allow the clinician to master their techniques for optimal, reproducible and predictable results in the long term. This advanced and intensive three days training provides the essential scientific background to make the right decisions for each case for the benefit of your patients. Specific practical exercises are designed to allow you to practice and master all the techniques learned in order to facilitate their integration into your daily practice.

Live surgery, carefully selected, will help you assimilate the information acquired and allow you to take your practice to the next level

Cutting Edge Implant Therapy - Posterior Zone

Implant placement for the replacement of posterior teeth is the most common procedure in our practice. The clinician must therefore be able to master specific techniques to ensure optimal and predictable long-term results such as virtual planning, implant placement technique, management of both hard and soft tissues and of course restoration.

Digitalization in dentistry, virtual planning and guided surgery allow us today to be able to offer custom made treatments according to the anatomy of each patient with reproducible and predictable results. Immediate placement of the implant in the posterior area remains controversial, but possible according to certain very specific criteria. The improvement of implant dentistry in the posterior zone allows the clinician to make the transition, later, with the techniques acquired with more confidence, when the time comes to treat the aesthetic anterior zone.

This advanced three-day classes provides you with all the essential elements to maximize both surgical and prosthetic results from planning to final restoration

Our goal is to transmit to you all the information acquired from the scientific literature, applicable clinically, to allow you to make the right decision according to the situation of each patient. Hands-on training designed specifically to perfect the techniques learned and carefully selected live surgery will help you assimilate the material in order to take your practice to a higher level.

Advanced Hard Tissue Defect Reconstruction

Tooth loss is often associated with a certain bone defect which can be moderate to severe, especially in the vertical dimension, which significantly limits implant treatment.

With the exception of sinus bone grafting, most bone defect reconstruction procedures have a relatively poor base of scientific evidence limiting their predictability and long-term stability. Therefore, they are frequently associated with significant morbidity for patients. When these defects are located in highly aesthetic areas, it is very rarely possible to obtain a truly predictable aesthetic result. Finally, the difficulty of performing the surgical procedures available requires great manual dexterity on the part of the surgeon and are difficult to master.

Through this intensive three-day training, we will therefore review the currently available literature in order to identify procedures that are adapted to today's requirements for successful and predictable bone reconstruction. In doing so, we will realistically define what each available procedure can actually accomplish in specific indications as well as their weaknesses and limitations.

Training designed with well-supervised practical exercises to perfect essential reconstruction techniques. The carefully selected live surgery will help you fully assimilate the information learned to enable you to carry out these procedures on your own patients directly after the course is completed.

Implants In The Aesthetic Zone

Implant placement for tooth replacement in the aesthetic area remains a huge challenge in our practice. The clinician must consider a wide range of different concepts and approaches, not to mention the controversy and disagreement in the literature surrounding the overabundance of different hard and soft tissue replacement materials, for the maintenance and stabilization of peri-implant tissues. In particular, there is still no conclusive answer as to which treatment protocol is more predictable: Immediate implant placement while preserving as much peri-implant tissue or delayed implant placement with the best reconstruction. possible missing hard and soft tissue structures? For the clinician, decision-making is often difficult, particularly given that mastery of several techniques is essential to achieve an aesthetic and predictable long-term result, without forgetting the importance of immediate restoration for tissue maintenance. Precision in the execution of techniques is essential and makes all the difference in the aesthetic area.

This three-day advanced training provides the essential scientific background to make the right decisions for each case for the benefit of your patients. Hands-on training designed with well-supervised practical exercises to master essential techniques for soft tissue manipulation, connective tissue grafting and aesthetic restoration. Live surgery, carefully selected, will help you assimilate the information acquired, allowing you to take your practice to the next level.

Rehabilitation of the completely edentulous maxilla or mandible represents one of the most important oral rehabilitation services offered in implant dentistry. Indeed, tooth loss affects more than 300 million people worldwide, also showing an increase in incidence each year (3%). In this context, surgical and implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with moderate to severe atrophy is difficult due to several factors specific to the edentulous person. Patients characterized by long-term complete edentulism often present with these unique conditions.

The atrophy caused by edentulism limits the treatment options offered to patients in both the mandible and the upper jaw.

To increase the predictability of our treatments, planning and guided surgery are required today.

Over the years and with the evolution of digital dentistry, our treatments are more predictable with a better long-term prognosis, however implant treatment must always be based on the final restoration. The clinician must therefore master surgical planning and management of the final restoration before starting treatment.

This advanced three-day training provides you with all the essential elements to maximize both surgical and prosthetic results, from planning to final restoration.

Our goal is to transmit to you all the information acquired from the scientific literature, applicable clinically, to allow you to make the right decision according to the situation of each patient. Jacques Goulet, Chirurgien maxillo-Facial, Saint-Jérôme

«I chose to take Jean El Fata's course because it was highly recommended to me by individuals in the field, particularly by specialists who are already well-versed in implantology and who had taken his course and were impressed.

Having taught prosthetic implantology for many years, I must admit that Jean's course kept me engaged and interested.

The quality of what Dr. El Fata presents is impeccable: from the theory that explains his choices, always well-supported by science, to the practice backed by over 20 years of experience with well-documented cases followed over many years.

His presentation work is as consistent and meticulous as his surgical art, which he continues to refine year after year. He has maximized his surgical interventions to offer his patients precision and predictability, mastering surgery and approaching it with care while always considering the final prosthetic aspect—the very purpose of implantology.

I highly recommend Jean's courses to anyone serious about learning what modern implantology has to offer.»
